Scrum is not a cookbook ‘process’ with detailed and exhaustive prescriptions for every imaginable situation. Scrum is a framework of principles, roles and rules that thrive on the people doing Scrum. The true potential of Scrum lies in the discovery and emergence of practices, tools and techniques and in optimizing them for each organization’s specific context. Scrum is very much about behavior, much more than it is about process.

One of the important factors that impact the success rates of software projects’ being pretty low in our sector (This rate is 30% all over the world) is that all the work is being done by humans. In general, commitments about completion of the work are being made with respect to a stated time, specific budget and a list of features, disregarding a complex factor such as human. Turnover of an employee in a job averagely varies from 12 to 30 months in Turkey.

One of the concepts on which companies harps and an emphasis should be put more, in my opinion, is developing with ‘innovation.’ Being able to innovate is based on change and improvement.

Knowledge! The most valuable thing of today isn't it? I always guide the Scrum teams for toward making everything visible in the simplest form without creating extra confusion regarding access to information.
